We attended the Adults of Unity Conference at
We were given many opportunities to share Jamie throughout the week. We had a slide presentation of his life which was attended by 60-70 persons. It was a memorial tribute to Jamie in which people were able to meet him through pictures, words, poems and letters. Many attendees stated they felt his presence during the service and through the week.
Our dear friend Nancy became the “keeper” of the Jamie book. She became very close to him and shared him with many others. Joy-See, from CCU (our home church) suggested we make a Love Note envelope for Jamie, so he could receive prayers and blessings from the conference body. His envelope was overflowing. We were also deeply touched by the notes of love. Although we didn’t attend many group gatherings we were invited to several events to honor Jamie. Mark Welch sang a few songs, Michele danced a dance to Josh Groban’s song “A Breath Away”, a drumming circle was dedicated to connecting with him. We also had many healers work with us individually.
We met others who shared their experience of grief and many hearts broke open by the loss of a child.

Were all inspirational in
their support & care for us during the week.
We even noticed spontaneous summersaults breaking out
during the closing circle.
(a first I’ve seen in 20 years of attending)
We feel Jamie’s essence
was honored during this week.

PS. We were so supported and validated that we signed up for next year. All four of us will be attending this year from June 30 to July 4, Healing the World, One Heart at a Time. Whatever your sorrow or joy we encourage attendance of this most precious annual spiritual renewal (see the link in the grief support section)
