Dear Mother and Father of the Universe,
Who know the suffering and love of the world through the eyes of parents
Who know the suffering of the loss of a child
And all those that leave their bodies too soon
Leaving their loved ones behind on this earth not knowing what to do
Not understanding why
Suffering a great sense of loss and devastation,
Let your presence and essence be with us today
Help us to know someone understands our pain and has
compassion for our
experience and insight into all that we endure each day in our sorrow.

Bless us as we try again on this earth

Comfort our pain
Strengthen our resolve to continue for another day in the land of great grief
Father Universe
Help us find some humor in this day
Carry us on your shoulders
