"Jamie-Isms"

The words and phrases express the innocence and straightforward nature of a child's thinking at different ages. Some he used when Jamie was first learning to speak. Some developed as he worked to build his mind and his understanding of the world. Some were left over from his first language, Spanglish.

Agua melon = watermelon

Brekfisk = breakfast

Kid meat = vegetarian meat product

Rah-rah's = monsters

Broom-brooms = cars

Bite = I want something to eat

Shiggs = dogs (after Jiggs his dog)

Shiggs ona doe = Jiggs wants to go with us

Academia nuts = Macadamia Nuts

Lovenen, Kissenen, Missesen each other = 
loving, kissing missing each other

fur-fur-fur = refrigerator

shyer = shower

oatmuhl = oatmeal

Go Loud = Speak louder please, I can't hear you.

It fun = I'm having fun

Gril, wirld, Cralos, Crambia = anything with a vowel and an "r" got switched

Tuley = kids older than him. He began calling his cousin Cody, Tuley at age two and kept going to all kids a few years older than him

I wanna jale your pelo = I want to hold you hair (used as a comfort when going to bed at night)

Helmom= Helmet

Upstirs/downstirs = upstairs/downstairs

Asking Marks = Questions Marks

Explanation points = exclamation points
